END OF TERM 3 UPDATE, TERM 4 START . . .

TERM 4 START - Students come back on Day 1 . . .
There is NO Pupil Free Day at the start of Term 4, so students return on the first Monday, 12th October and we are looking forward to seeing you all then...

100 YEAR FETE AND SCHOOL REUNION - Coming Sunday November 1st.

Make sure you keep Sunday November 1 free, to come along and celebrate the 100 years of Wattle Grove Primary School, with the 100 Year Fete on the school oval and the School Reunion for all the students of the school down through the decades. There will be displays of many of the most memorable times and events since the school started on the 19th July 1915 in the small drafty wooden hall shown above...as well as all the fun of a great fete organised by the P&C.

INTERSCHOOL ATHLETICS 2015 - Second Place Getters . . .

Congratulations to our Interschool Athletics Team 2015, who did a great job to be second overall this year. A great effort after coming fourth in 2014.  One of the areas that really helped our score was doing so well in the team games. Congratulations to the three girl champions above, Ruby and Abbey Henshall and Emma Ferguson, who were the Junior, Middle and Senior Girl Champions on the day - a terrific effort. Thank you to all the parents who helped out on the day or came along to support our students. A big thanks to Mr Sherlock, Mrs Oliver and Mr Williams for all their hard work in training and encouraging the students to do their best on the day.

FLOWER PROJECT UPDATE
Mr Petch and his Year 3/4 students, together with Mrs Harney and her Year 2 students, planted seeds in the circular flower beds between Blocks 1 and 2 back at the end of July. Mr Petch's students have also worked very hard to keep the plants watered in the warmer weather and some of the beautiful results are pictured in the slideshow below.  http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-P-bLua6AZYc/VY6DVet5wBI/AAAAAAAAD8k/Upd5LRKjzqI/s1600/DSC09611%2B%2B1024.jpg
